Sofia Manvati / Italy

Sofia Manvati graduated with honours from the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali Claudio Monteverdi in Cremona. She is currently pursuing postgraduate studies at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Brussels. During the 2022/23 season, she was honoured as the artist-in-residence by the Società di Concerti di Milano.

Manvati has performed numerous recitals and participated in festivals as both a soloist and a chamber musician in Italy and abroad. 

She was a semi-finalist in the Karol Szymanowski Violin Competition in 2023 and has won several national and international competitions. Among her accolades, she received a special prize for the best interpretation of Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons” at the Tibor Junior International Competition in Sion. She also won the first edition of the Lombardia è Musica competition. 

Manvati’s discography includes two recordings: Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 5 in A major KV 219, conducted by M. Bella for Suonare News magazine, and Olivier Messiaen’s Quartet for the End of Time with the Eurythmy Quartet for Da Vinci Records.
