Jakub Staszel / Poland
Jakub Staszel began learning to play the violin at the age of seven and is currently a student at the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań, studying under Professor Marcin Baranowski since September 2020.
He has enriched his education by participating in international violin courses with renowned musicians such as Gil Shaham, Midori Goto, Noah Bendix-Balgley, and Ning Feng. Additionally, he attended the prestigious international Morningside Music Bridge courses organized by the Calgary Philharmonic.
Staszel has achieved significant success in numerous competitions. His accolades include second prize at the 15th Karol Lipiński and Henryk Wieniawski International Competition in Lublin, first prize at the 7th International Puławy Violin Competition, second prize at the 3rd Grażyna Bacewicz International Competition in Łódź, as well as third prizes at the 2nd Karol Szymanowski International Competition in Katowice and the 1st Grunewald International Music Competition in Berlin.
